Setting course target dates / deadlines and refresher periods

Setting course target dates / deadlines and refresher periods

First find the course you would like to change the date for. There are two ways to do this:

1) Individual courses

1) Use the activity report and use the filters to narrow down your search
2) use the  learners page and view the learner record.

Once you can see the course click on view to see the course settings for that learner.  Depending on your screen size the layout may look a little different.

Find the "TARGET END DATE" or "and click on the  little  blue pen icon next to it.

Then either click on the date to change it using the calendar widget or  simply  delete the date.

Don't forget to save your changes.

2 Bulk updates

1) Go to the activity report and use the filters to show the courses you want to update.

2) Select the courses you would like to update by using the check buttons, click "Actions" and select "Update Due Date" from the drop down menu.

3) Select the date you would like to change to by using the handy calendar widget.  If you type in the date please use a hyphen in this format dd-mm-yyyy.  If you use a slash or full stops the date won't be recognised.

4) Check the date you have chosen and click "Update"

5) Check the number of courses being updated and confirm your selection by clicking "Update"
